Montreal Falls 4-3 to Capitals - Recap

The Capitals earned a 4-3 victory over the Canadiens on Saturday at Bell Centre.

Montreal got goals from Alex Newhook, Nick Suzuki, and Arber Xhekaj in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Jake Allen stopped 30 of 34 shots for the Canadiens, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Washington went 1-for-1, while the Canadiens were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Montreal lost the shots on goal battle to Washington by a margin of 34-31.

Next game, Washington takes its act home to face New Jersey looking for another win. For Montreal, they head home to face Buffalo.
