Maple Leafs Fall 6-4 Against Vancouver - Game Recap

Conor Garland was the difference, potting a pair for Vancouver on Saturday as the Canucks skated off with a 6-4 victory over the Maple Leafs at Rogers Arena.

Vancouver got goals from Conor Garland(2), Nils Hoglander(2), J.T. Miller, and Elias Pettersson in the victory. Hoglander opened the scoring at 3:06 of the first period.

Thatcher Demko turned in a 42-save effort for the Canucks.

William Nylander(2), Mitchell Marner, and Jake McCabe scored for the Maple Leafs, finding the net behind Thatcher Demko.

Toronto got a 15-stop effort from Martin Jones in the loss.

On the power play, Vancouver went 2-for-3, while the Maple Leafs were 0-for-5 with the man advantage.

Vancouver lost the shots on goal battle to Toronto by a margin of 46-21.

Vancouver heads into a battle against the Blackhawks. Toronto, meanwhile, will have their next action against Seattle.
