New York Skates Past Carolina 5-4 - Recap

Ilya Sorokin stopped 36 of 40 shots fired at him by Carolina, as the Islanders skated to a 5-4 victory Saturday at PNC Arena.

New York lost the shots on goal battle to Carolina by a margin of 40-28.

Next game, New York takes its act home to face Pittsburgh looking for another win. For Carolina, they head on the road to face Nashville.
