Vancouver Falls 5-4 to Predators - Recap

Nashville needed a shootout to earn a 5-4 victory over Vancouver on Tuesday in NHL action at Bridgestone Arena.

The Predators were a -158 favorite in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 6.5.

Nino Niederreiter, Philip Tomasino, Cole Smith, and Mikael Granlund each scored for the Predators in the victory. Smith opened the scoring for Nashville.

Juuse Saros turned in a 36-save effort for the Predators.

Vancouver got goals from Andrei Kuzmenko(2), Conor Garland, and Sheldon Dries in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Vancouver got a 22-stop effort from Collin Delia in the loss.

On the power play, Nashville went 1-for-4, while the Canucks were 1-for-4 with the man advantage.

Nashville lost the shots on goal battle to Vancouver by a margin of 40-26.

Next game, Nashville takes its act on the road to face San Jose looking for another win. For Vancouver, they head on the road to face St. Louis.
