Lightning Fall 4-1 Against Edmonton - Game Recap

Connor McDavid scored a pair of goals against the Lightning as Edmonton handed Tampa Bay a 4-1 defeat on Saturday at Rogers Place.

Edmonton won as a +118 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 6.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Connor McDavid(2), Leon Draisaitl, and Kailer Yamamoto each scored for the Oilers in the victory. McDavid opened the scoring for Edmonton.

Mikko Koskinen turned in a 31-save effort for the Oilers.

Tampa Bay got a goal from Zach Bogosian in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Brian Elliott stopped 45 of 48 shots for the Lightning, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Edmonton went 1-for-7, while the Lightning were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Tampa Bay lost the shots on goal battle to Edmonton by a margin of 49-32.

Edmonton looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Red Wings. The Lightning will aim to get back on the winning track at Vancouver.
