Florida Skates Past Detroit 6-2 - Recap

Anton Lundell scored a pair of goals against the Red Wings as Florida handed Detroit a 6-2 defeat on Saturday at FLA Live Arena.

The Panthers were a -375 favorite in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 7.0.

Florida got goals from Anton Lundell(2), Sam Bennett, Lucas Carlsson, Mason Marchment, and Anthony Duclair in the victory. Marchment opened the scoring at 4:10 of the first period.

Sergei Bobrovsky turned in a 22-save effort for the Panthers.

Robby Fabbri, and Tyler Bertuzzi scored for the Red Wings, finding the net behind Sergei Bobrovsky.

Detroit got a 18-stop effort from Thomas Greiss in the loss.

On the power play, Florida went 2-for-3, while the Red Wings were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Detroit lost the shots on goal battle to Florida by a margin of 39-24.

Next game, Florida takes its act on the road to face Buffalo looking for another win. For Detroit, they head home to face Arizona.
