Senators Fall 4-2 Against Edmonton - Game Recap

Jesse Puljujarvi scored twice to lead the Oilers over Ottawa 4-2 on Tuesday at Rogers Place.

The Oilers were a -228 favorite in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 6.5.

Jesse Puljujarvi(2), Leon Draisaitl, and Darnell Nurse each scored for the Oilers in the victory. Nurse opened the scoring for Edmonton.

Mikko Koskinen turned in a 23-save effort for the Oilers.

Cedric Paquette, and Tim Stuetzle scored for the Senators, finding the net behind Mikko Koskinen.

Marcus Hogberg stopped 21 of 25 shots for the Senators, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Edmonton went 0-for-2, while the Senators were 0-for-5 with the man advantage.

Edmonton outshot Ottawa 25-25 in the game.

Next game, Edmonton takes its act on the road to face Calgary looking for another win. For Ottawa, they head on the road to face Montreal.
