Recap - Cowboys Defeat Houston 27-23

The Texans came up short against the Cowboys in Week 14 action on Sunday, falling 27-23 at AT&T Stadium.

Dallas did not, however, defeat the Texans against the spread, which closed at -17.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 44.5.

Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 62 yards, while Tony Pollard added 42 yards in the win. Dalton Schultz and Noah Brown added 87 and 85 receiving yards respectively.

Dameon Pierce rushed for 78 yards for Houston, while Jeff Driskel added 36 yards. Jeff Driskel threw for 38 yards for the Texans, while receivers Chris Moore and Amari Rodgers had 124 and 57 yards respectively.

Houston lost the offensive yardage battle to Dallas 404-327 yards in Sunday's game. Dallas had more first downs as that total ended up 21-16.

The time of possession battle favored Houston as their offense was on the field for 33:14, longer than the 26:46 of their opponents.

Next game, Dallas takes its act on the road to face Jacksonville looking for another win. For Houston, they head home to face Kansas City.
