Recap - Colts Defeat New York 36-7

Indianapolis cruised to victory on Sunday, as they ran up a 36-7 score against New York in Week 3 action at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Colts were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -12.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 43.5.

Jonathan Taylor rushed for 59 yards, while Jordan Wilkins added 39 yards in the win. T.Y. Hilton and Mo Alie-Cox added 52 and 50 receiving yards respectively.

Frank Gore rushed for 57 yards for New York, while La'Mical Perine added 24 yards. Sam Darnold threw for 168 yards for the Jets, while receivers Braxton Berrios and Kalen Ballage had 64 and 44 yards respectively.

New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Indianapolis 353-260 yards in Sunday's game. Indianapolis had more first downs as that total ended up 21-15.

New York lost the time of possession battle 30:08-29:52, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Indianapolis takes its act on the road to face Chicago looking for another win. For New York, they head home to face Denver.
