Recap - Orange Defeat Wake Forest 35-31
The Demon Deacons had no answer for LeQuint Allen on Saturday as the Orange rolled to a 35-31 win at JMA Wireless Dome.
Syracuse was a favorite by -2.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 43.0.
LeQuint Allen rushed for 144 yards, while Dan Villari added 51 yards in the win. Damien Alford and Umari Hatcher added 126 and 76 receiving yards respectively.
Tate Carney rushed for 51 yards for Wake Forest, while Justice Ellison added 38 yards. Michael Kern threw for 261 yards for the Demon Deacons, while receivers Taylor Morin and Jahmal Banks had 140 and 90 yards respectively.
Wake Forest lost the offensive yardage battle to Syracuse 468-382 yards in Saturday's game. Syracuse had more first downs as that total ended up 24-23.
