49ers Fall 44-38 Against Memphis - Game Recap
Seth Henigan threw for 329 yards to lead the Tigers over Charlotte 44-38 on Saturday in Week 11 action at Jerry Richardson Stadium.
Memphis did not, however, defeat the 49ers against the spread, which closed at -10.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 52.0.
Seth Henigan completed 32 of 48 pass attempts for 329 yards for the Tigers in the win.
Hahsaun Wilson rushed for 198 yards for Charlotte, while Joachim Bangda added 36 yards. Trexler Ivey threw for 168 yards for the 49ers, while receivers Colin Weber and Jairus Mack had 117 and 16 yards respectively.
Charlotte lost the offensive yardage battle to Memphis 430-391 yards in Saturday's game. Memphis had more first downs as that total ended up 29-19.
Charlotte led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:09-28:51 split in that important category.
Next game, Memphis takes its act home to face SMU looking for another win. For Charlotte, they head home to face Rice.
