Spartans Fall 38-3 Against Ohio State - Game Recap

Kyle McCord sliced and diced the Spartans defense for 335 yards as Ohio State handed Michigan State a 38-3 defeat on Saturday at Ohio Stadium.

Ohio State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -32.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.5.

Kyle McCord completed 24 of 31 pass attempts for 335 yards for the Buckeyes in the win.

Nate Carter rushed for 52 yards for Michigan State, while Jaren Mangham added 35 yards. Katin Houser threw for 92 yards for the Spartans, while receivers Christian Fitzpatrick and Alante Brown had 23 and 20 yards respectively.

Ohio State outgained Michigan State 530-182 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-11 by the Buckeyes.

Michigan State lost the time of possession battle 31:12-28:48, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
