Recap - Huskies Defeat Utah 35-28

Michael Penix Jr.'s 332-yard performance through the air was the key in Washington's 35-28 win over Utah on Saturday at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium.

Washington did not, however, defeat the Utes against the spread, which closed at -10.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.0.

Michael Penix Jr. completed 24 of 42 pass attempts for 332 yards for the Huskies in the win.

Bryson Barnes rushed for 39 yards for Utah, while Jaylon Glover added 37 yards. Bryson Barnes threw for 267 yards for the Utes, while receivers Devaughn Vele and Sione Vaki had 145 and 67 yards respectively.

Utah lost the offensive yardage battle to Washington 457-382 yards in Saturday's game. Washington had more first downs as that total ended up 27-17.

The time of possession battle favored Washington as their offense was on the field for 34:58, longer than the 25:02 of their opponents.

Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Oregon State. Utah will aim to get back on the winning track at Arizona.
