Boilermakers Fall 41-13 Against Michigan - Game Recap

J.J. McCarthy threw for 335 yards to lead the Wolverines over Purdue 41-13 on Saturday in Week 10 action at Michigan Stadium.

Michigan did not, however, defeat the Boilermakers against the spread, which closed at -31.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 54.5.

J.J. McCarthy completed 24 of 37 pass attempts for 335 yards for the Wolverines in the win.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushed for 61 yards for Purdue, while Devin Mockobee added 38 yards. Hudson Card threw for 144 yards for the Boilermakers, while receivers Mershawn Rice and Deion Burks had 43 and 43 yards respectively.

Purdue lost the offensive yardage battle to Michigan 445-269 yards in Saturday's game. Michigan had more first downs as that total ended up 22-10.

Purdue lost the time of possession battle 33:54-26:06, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Penn State. Purdue will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Minnesota.
