Recap - Nittany Lions Defeat Maryland 51-15

The battle between the Nittany Lions and Terrapins didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Maryland was handed a 51-15 defeat on Saturday at SECU Stadium.

Penn State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -7.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.5.

Kaytron Allen rushed for 91 yards, while Drew Allar added 39 yards in the win. KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Dante Cephas added 95 and 53 receiving yards respectively.

Billy Edwards Jr. rushed for 4 yards for Maryland, while Roman Hemby added 0 yards. Taulia Tagovailoa threw for 286 yards for the Terrapins, while receivers Tai Felton and Corey Dyches had 75 and 60 yards respectively.

Maryland lost the offensive yardage battle to Penn State 404-234 yards in Saturday's game. Penn State had more first downs as that total ended up 25-15.

Penn State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 37:14-22:46 split in that important category.

Next game, Penn State takes its act home to face Michigan looking for another win. For Maryland, they head on the road to face Nebraska.
