Seminoles vs Panthers Final: 24-7 - Recap

Jordan Travis led the way with 360 passing yards on Saturday as the Seminoles picked up a 24-7 victory over the Panthers at Acrisure Stadium.

Florida State won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -20.5-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 49.5.

Jordan Travis completed 22 of 36 pass attempts for 360 yards for the Seminoles in the win.

Rodney Hammond Jr. rushed for 60 yards for Pittsburgh, while Daniel Carter added 26 yards. Christian Veilleux threw for 244 yards for the Panthers, while receivers Konata Mumpfield and Bub Means had 99 and 98 yards respectively.

Pittsburgh was outgained by Florida State 501-333 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-16 by the Seminoles.

Pittsburgh lost the time of possession battle 34:54-25:06, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Florida State takes its act home to face Miami-FL looking for another win. For Pittsburgh, they head on the road to face Syracuse.
