Recap - Ragin' Cajuns Defeat South Alabama 33-20

Jacob Kibodi scampered through the South Alabama defense for 119 yards as Louisiana-Lafayette handed the Jaguars a 33-20 defeat on Saturday at Hancock Whitney Stadium.

The Ragin' Cajuns were a +12.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 55.5.

Jacob Kibodi rushed for 119 yards, while Dre'lyn Washington added 52 yards in the win. Peter LeBlanc and Terrance Carter added 37 and 36 receiving yards respectively.

La'Damian Webb rushed for 96 yards for South Alabama, while Kentrel Bullock added 32 yards. Carter Bradley threw for 381 yards for the Jaguars, while receivers Jamaal Pritchett and Caullin Lacy had 168 and 131 yards respectively.

Louisiana-Lafayette lost the offensive yardage battle to South Alabama 498-348 yards in Saturday's game. South Alabama had more first downs as that total ended up 25-19.

Louisiana-Lafayette led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:44-25:16 split in that important category.

Louisiana-Lafayette looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Arkansas State. South Alabama will aim to get back on the winning track at Troy.
