Washington Huskies vs Stanford Cardinal Recap - Huskies Win 42-33

Michael Penix Jr. led the way with 369 passing yards on Saturday as the Huskies picked up a 42-33 victory over the Cardinal at Stanford Stadium.

The Huskies earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -28.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 62.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Michael Penix Jr. completed 21 of 38 pass attempts for 369 yards for the Huskies in the win.

Ashton Daniels rushed for 85 yards for Stanford, while E.J. Smith added 18 yards. Ashton Daniels threw for 367 yards for the Cardinal, while receivers Elic Ayomanor and Tiger Bachmeier had 146 and 95 yards respectively.

Washington lost the offensive yardage battle to Stanford 499-460 yards in Saturday's game. Stanford had more first downs as that total ended up 26-22.

Washington lost the time of possession battle 35:10-24:50, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Washington heads into a 10 battle against USC. Stanford, meanwhile, will have their next action against Washington State.
