Utah Utes vs USC Trojans Recap - Utes Win 34-32

The Trojans had no answer for Ja'Quinden Jackson on Saturday as the Utes rolled to a 34-32 win at United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Bettors who backed the Utes were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of +8.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 52.0.

Ja'Quinden Jackson rushed for 117 yards, while Sione Vaki added 68 yards in the win. Sione Vaki and Devaughn Vele added 149 and 37 receiving yards respectively.

MarShawn Lloyd rushed for 86 yards for USC, while Austin Jones added 31 yards. Caleb Williams threw for 256 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Tahj Washington and Lake McRee had 112 and 35 yards respectively.

USC lost the offensive yardage battle to Utah 482-401 yards in Saturday's game. Utah had more first downs as that total ended up 23-18.

USC lost the time of possession battle 34:42-25:18, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Utah looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Oregon. USC will aim to get back on the winning track at California.
