Boilermakers Fall 41-7 Against Ohio State - Game Recap

Marvin Harrison Jr. inflicted damage on the Purdue secondary, receiving 105 yards as Ohio State defeated the Boilermakers 41-7 at Ross-Ade Stadium.

The Buckeyes were a -17.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 53.0.

Dallan Hayden rushed for 76 yards, while Xavier Johnson added 39 yards in the win. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Carnell Tate added 105 and 79 receiving yards respectively.

Devin Mockobee rushed for 110 yards for Purdue, while Dylan Downing added 18 yards. Hudson Card threw for 126 yards for the Boilermakers, while receivers Mershawn Rice and TJ Sheffield had 50 and 24 yards respectively.

Purdue lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio State 486-257 yards in Saturday's game. Ohio State had more first downs as that total ended up 24-15.

The time of possession battle favored Ohio State as their offense was on the field for 32:21, longer than the 27:33 of their opponents.

Ohio State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Penn State. Purdue will aim to get back on the winning track at Nebraska.
