Panthers Fall 38-21 Against Virginia Tech - Game Recap

Bhayshul Tuten tore up the turf for 109 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Hokies to a 38-21 win over the Panthers at Lane Stadium/Worsham Field.

Bhayshul Tuten rushed for 109 yards, while Kyron Drones added 41 yards in the win. Da'Quan Felton and Jaylin Lane added 81 and 64 receiving yards respectively.

C'Bo Flemister rushed for 41 yards for Pittsburgh, while Rodney Hammond Jr. added 18 yards. Phil Jurkovec threw for 235 yards for the Panthers, while receivers Bub Means and C'Bo Flemister had 75 and 57 yards respectively.

Virginia Tech outgained Pittsburgh 427-273 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-9 by the Hokies.

Virginia Tech led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 37:44-22:16 split in that important category.

Virginia Tech heads into a Week 6 battle against Florida State. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, will have their next action against Louisville.
