Washington outgained California 529-502 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 28-23 by the Golden Bears.
California lost the time of possession battle 30:10-29:50, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Arizona. California will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Arizona State.
