BYU Falls 38-27 to Jayhawks - Recap
The Jayhawks grabbed a Week 4 victory over the Cougars on Saturday, winning 38-27 at Kivisto Field at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
Kansas was the ATS victor, as they covered the -9.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 56.0 were rewarded at the payout window.
Devin Neal rushed for 91 yards, while Daniel Hishaw Jr. added 60 yards in the win. Lawrence Arnold and Jared Casey added 34 and 27 receiving yards respectively.
LJ Martin rushed for 28 yards for BYU, while Deion Smith added 10 yards. Kedon Slovis threw for 357 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Chase Roberts and Darius Lassiter had 89 and 84 yards respectively.
Kansas lost the time of possession battle 30:05-29:55, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Kansas heads into a Week 5 battle against Texas. BYU, meanwhile, will have their next action against Cincinnati.
