Recap - Wolverines Defeat Bowling Green 31-6
The Falcons had no answer for Blake Corum on Saturday as the Wolverines rolled to a 31-6 win at Michigan Stadium.
The Wolverines earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -41.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 53.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Blake Corum rushed for 101 yards, while Donovan Edwards added 50 yards in the win. Cornelius Johnson and Roman Wilson added 71 and 42 receiving yards respectively.
Nick Mosley rushed for 33 yards for Bowling Green, while PaSean Wimberly added 29 yards. Camden Orth threw for 91 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Odieu Hiliare and Abdul-Fatai Ibrahim had 37 and 33 yards respectively.
Bowling Green lost the offensive yardage battle to Michigan 312-205 yards in Saturday's game. Michigan had more first downs as that total ended up 15-10.
Michigan lost the time of possession battle 36:13-23:47, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Rutgers. Bowling Green will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Ohio.
