Nittany Lions vs Mountaineers Final: 38-15 - Recap

Drew Allar sliced and diced the Mountaineers defense for 325 yards as Penn State handed West Virginia a 38-15 defeat on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

The Nittany Lions were a -20.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 48.5.

Drew Allar completed 21 of 29 pass attempts for 325 yards for the Nittany Lions in the win.

CJ Donaldson Jr. rushed for 81 yards for West Virginia, while Garrett Greene added 71 yards. Garrett Greene threw for 162 yards for the Mountaineers, while receivers Devin Carter and Kole Taylor had 90 and 31 yards respectively.

West Virginia was outgained by Penn State 478-308 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-17 by the Nittany Lions.

Penn State lost the time of possession battle 31:16-28:44, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Penn State takes its act home to face Delaware looking for another win. For West Virginia, they head home to face Duquesne.
