Falcons Fall 38-14 Against Ohio - Game Recap
The battle between the Bobcats and Falcons didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Bowling Green was handed a 38-14 defeat on Tuesday at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium.
The Bobcats were a -5.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score pushed PUSH the total, which closed at 52.0.
Sieh Bangura rushed for 96 yards, while CJ Harris added 65 yards in the win. Jacoby Jones and James Bostic added 96 and 37 receiving yards respectively.
Nick Mosley rushed for 29 yards for Bowling Green, while Camden Orth added 27 yards. Matt McDonald threw for 217 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Tyrone Broden and Harold Fannin Jr. had 81 and 58 yards respectively.
Bowling Green lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio 384-279 yards in Tuesday's game. Ohio had more first downs as that total ended up 21-14.
Bowling Green lost the time of possession battle 36:19-23:41, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
