Akron Falls 31-28 to Falcons - Recap
The Falcons grabbed a Week 5 victory over the Zips on Saturday, winning 31-28 at Summa Field at InfoCision Stadium.
The Falcons earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -8.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 49.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Akron lost the offensive yardage battle to Bowling Green 422-408 yards in Saturday's game. Akron had more first downs as that total ended up 24-21.
Bowling Green lost the time of possession battle 30:42-29:18, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Bowling Green heads into a 6 battle against Buffalo. Akron, meanwhile, will have their next action against Ohio.
