Flames vs Blazers Final: 21-14 - Recap

Liberty earned a 21-14 victory over UAB on Saturday in Week 2 action at Williams Stadium.

Liberty was an underdog by +6.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 49.5.

Kaidon Salter rushed for 79 yards, while Dae Dae Hunter added 64 yards in the win. Noah Frith and Demario Douglas added 75 and 51 receiving yards respectively.

DeWayne McBride rushed for 177 yards for UAB, while Jermaine Brown Jr. added 91 yards. Dylan Hopkins threw for 114 yards for the Blazers, while receivers Trea Shropshire and Tejhaun Palmer had 56 and 20 yards respectively.

UAB lost the offensive yardage battle to Liberty 390-355 yards in Saturday's game. Liberty had more first downs as that total ended up 18-15.

The time of possession battle favored UAB as their offense was on the field for 31:29, longer than the 28:31 of their opponents.

Liberty looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Wake Forest. UAB will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Georgia Southern.
