Huskies vs Flames Final: 36-33 - Recap

UCONN got a 104-yard performance from Robert Burns as a key part of its 36-33 victory over the Flames on Saturday at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.

UCONN won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +13.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 45.0.

Robert Burns rushed for 104 yards, while Victor Rosa added 62 yards in the win. Aaron Turner and Kevens Clercius added 66 and 28 receiving yards respectively.

T.J. Green rushed for 119 yards for Liberty, while Demario Douglas added 105 yards. Johnathan Bennett threw for 201 yards for the Flames, while receivers Demario Douglas and T.J. Green had 70 and 31 yards respectively.

UCONN lost the offensive yardage battle to Liberty 474-318 yards in Saturday's game. Liberty had more first downs as that total ended up 29-15.

UCONN led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:18-27:42 split in that important category.

UCONN looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Army. Liberty will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Virginia Tech.
