BYU Cougars vs Boise State Broncos Recap - Cougars Win 31-28

Jaren Hall led the way with 377 passing yards on Saturday as the Cougars picked up a 31-28 victory over the Broncos at Albertsons Stadium.

BYU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +9.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 54.5.

Jaren Hall completed 29 of 42 pass attempts for 377 yards for the Cougars in the win.

George Holani rushed for 73 yards for Boise State, while Ashton Jeanty added 17 yards. Taylen Green threw for 220 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Latrell Caples and Stefan Cobbs had 81 and 50 yards respectively.

Boise State was outgained by BYU 532-324 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-16 by the Cougars.

Boise State lost the time of possession battle 36:01-23:59, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

BYU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Dixie State. Boise State will aim to get back on the winning track at Nevada.
