Wildcats Fall 21-7 Against Ohio State - Game Recap

The Wildcats had no answer for Miyan Williams on Saturday as the Buckeyes rolled to a 21-7 win at Ryan Field.

The Buckeyes won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -37.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Miyan Williams rushed for 111 yards, while C.J. Stroud added 79 yards in the win. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Cade Stover added 51 and 12 receiving yards respectively.

Evan Hull rushed for 122 yards for Northwestern, while Brendan Sullivan added 55 yards. Ryan Hilinski threw for 0 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Malik Washington and Cam Porter had 49 and 14 yards respectively.

Ohio State lost the offensive yardage battle to Northwestern 285-283 yards in Saturday's game. Northwestern had more first downs as that total ended up 17-13.

The time of possession battle favored Northwestern as their offense was on the field for 36:26, longer than the 23:34 of their opponents.

Next game, Ohio State takes its act home to face Indiana looking for another win. For Northwestern, they head on the road to face Minnesota.
