Nittany Lions Fall 44-31 Against Ohio State - Game Recap

C.J. Stroud was good for 354 yards through the air on Saturday as the Buckeyes got past the Nittany Lions by a score of 44-31 at Beaver Stadium.

The Buckeyes won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -15.5-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

C.J. Stroud completed 26 of 33 pass attempts for 354 yards for the Buckeyes in the win.

Kaytron Allen rushed for 76 yards for Penn State, while Nicholas Singleton added 45 yards. Sean Clifford threw for 371 yards for the Nittany Lions, while receivers Parker Washington and KeAndre Lambert-Smith had 179 and 58 yards respectively.

Ohio State lost the offensive yardage battle to Penn State 482-452 yards in Saturday's game. Penn State had more first downs as that total ended up 24-21.

Ohio State lost the time of possession battle 30:26-29:34, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Ohio State heads into a 10 battle against Northwestern. Penn State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Indiana.
