Massachusetts Falls 34-7 to Bulls - Recap

The battle between the Bulls and Minutemen didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Massachusetts was handed a 34-7 defeat on Saturday at Warren P. McGuirk Alumni Stadium.

The Bulls were a -17.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 47.0.

Al-Jay Henderson rushed for 99 yards, while Ron Cook Jr. added 43 yards in the win. Jamari Gassett and Justin Marshall added 85 and 75 receiving yards respectively.

Kay'Ron Adams rushed for 65 yards for Massachusetts, while Ellis Merriweather added 21 yards. Garrett Dzuro threw for 99 yards for the Minutemen, while receivers George Johnson III and Isaac Ross had 52 and 33 yards respectively.

Massachusetts was outgained by Buffalo 480-220 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-16 by the Bulls.

The time of possession battle favored Buffalo as their offense was on the field for 32:40, longer than the 27:20 of their opponents.

Buffalo heads into a 8 battle against Toledo. Massachusetts, meanwhile, will have their next action against New Mexico State.
