Orange vs Eagles Final: 32-23 - Recap
Sean Tucker tore up the turf for 125 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Orange to a 32-23 win over the Eagles at Alumni Stadium.
Syracuse did not, however, defeat the Eagles against the spread, which closed at -10.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 47.0.
Sean Tucker rushed for 125 yards, while Garrett Shrader added 20 yards in the win. Oronde Gadsden II and Damien Alford added 106 and 83 receiving yards respectively.
Pat Garwo III rushed for 83 yards for Boston College, while Emmett Morehead added 8 yards. Emmett Morehead threw for 252 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Zay Flowers and Alex Broome had 110 and 71 yards respectively.
Syracuse outgained Boston College 443-341 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-22 by the Orange.
The time of possession battle favored Syracuse as their offense was on the field for 31:56, longer than the 27:35 of their opponents.
