Red Raiders Fall 45-17 Against Baylor - Game Recap

Richard Reese tore up the turf for 148 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Bears to a 45-17 win over the Red Raiders at Jones AT&T Stadium.

Baylor won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +1.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 61.0.

Richard Reese rushed for 148 yards, while Qualan Jones added 38 yards in the win. Gavin Holmes and Hal Presley added 77 and 58 receiving yards respectively.

Tahj Brooks rushed for 98 yards for Texas Tech, while SaRodorick Thompson added 66 yards. Behren Morton threw for 152 yards for the Red Raiders, while receivers Xavier White and Jerand Bradley had 45 and 44 yards respectively.

Texas Tech was outgained by Baylor 442-308 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-23 by the Bears.

Baylor led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 40:17-19:43 split in that important category.

Next game, Baylor takes its act on the road to face Oklahoma looking for another win. For Texas Tech, they head on the road to face TCU.
