Flames Fall 37-36 Against Wake Forest - Game Recap

Sam Hartman was good for 325 yards through the air on Saturday as the Demon Deacons got past the Flames by a score of 37-36 at Truist Field.

Wake Forest did not, however, defeat the Flames against the spread, which closed at -18.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 64.0.

Sam Hartman completed 26 of 44 pass attempts for 325 yards for the Demon Deacons in the win.

Dae Dae Hunter rushed for 93 yards for Liberty, while Kaidon Salter added 77 yards. Kaidon Salter threw for 256 yards for the Flames, while receivers Demario Douglas and Caleb Snead had 124 and 59 yards respectively.

Wake Forest was outgained by Liberty 437-346 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-16 by the Flames.

Liberty led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:28-24:32 split in that important category.

Wake Forest heads into a Week 4 battle against Clemson. Liberty, meanwhile, will have their next action against Akron.
