Utes vs Cardinal Final: 42-7 - Recap

Tavion Thomas ran for 180 yards as Utah handled Stanford by a score of 42-7 on Saturday at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Mitch Leigber rushed for 40 yards for Stanford, while Shield Taylor added 2 yards. Tanner McKee threw for 155 yards for the Cardinal, while receivers Elijah Higgins and C.J. Hawkins had 105 and 20 yards respectively.

Stanford lost the offensive yardage battle to Utah 514-177 yards in Saturday's game. Utah had more first downs as that total ended up 29-9.

Stanford lost the time of possession battle 34:31-25:29, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
