Mississippi State Falls 45-19 to Bulldogs - Recap

Mississippi State couldn't hang with the Bulldogs on Saturday as Georgia blasted the Bulldogs 45-19 in Week 11 action at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.

Georgia won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -16.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 53.0.

Ladd McConkey rushed for 70 yards, while Kendall Milton added 41 yards in the win. Ladd McConkey and Kearis Jackson added 71 and 69 receiving yards respectively.

Jo'quavious Marks rushed for 41 yards for Mississippi State, while Dillon Johnson added 9 yards. Will Rogers threw for 261 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Rufus Harvey and Jaden Walley had 64 and 52 yards respectively.

Mississippi State lost the offensive yardage battle to Georgia 468-308 yards in Saturday's game. Georgia had more first downs as that total ended up 21-18.

The time of possession battle favored Georgia as their offense was on the field for 31:46, longer than the 28:14 of their opponents.

Next game, Georgia takes its act on the road to face Kentucky looking for another win. For Mississippi State, they head home to face East Tennessee State.
