Arizona State Falls 34-13 to Utes - Recap
Arizona State couldn't hang with the Utes on Saturday as Utah blasted the Sun Devils 34-13 in Week 4 action at Sun Devil Stadium, Frank Kush Field.
The Utes were a -17.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 54.0.
Tavion Thomas rushed for 60 yards, while Jaylon Glover added 48 yards in the win. Thomas Yassmin and Dalton Kincaid added 72 and 66 receiving yards respectively.
Xazavian Valladay rushed for 30 yards for Arizona State, while Daniyel Ngata added 2 yards. Emory Jones threw for 261 yards for the Sun Devils, while receivers Elijhah Badger and Giovanni Sanders had 76 and 38 yards respectively.
Arizona State was outgained by Utah 465-267 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-15 by the Utes.
Utah led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:33-24:27 split in that important category.
Next game, Utah takes its act home to face Oregon State looking for another win. For Arizona State, they head on the road to face USC.
