Recap - Golden Flashes Defeat NIU 52-47

Dustin Crum sliced and diced the Huskies defense for 322 yards as Kent State handed NIU a 52-47 defeat on Wednesday at Dix Stadium.

Kent State was the ATS victor, as they covered the -4.0-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 72.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Dustin Crum completed 20 of 30 pass attempts for 322 yards for the Golden Flashes in the win.

Jay Ducker rushed for 101 yards for NIU, while Rocky Lombardi added 22 yards. Rocky Lombardi threw for 532 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Trayvon Rudolph and Tyrice Richie had 309 and 60 yards respectively.

NIU lost the offensive yardage battle to Kent State 682-663 yards in Wednesday's game. NIU had more first downs as that total ended up 32-31.

NIU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:04-24:56 split in that important category.

Next game, Kent State takes its act on the road to face Central Michigan looking for another win. For NIU, they head home to face Ball State.
