Stanford Falls 20-13 to Huskies - Recap

Sean McGrew scampered through the Stanford defense for 114 yards as Washington handed the Cardinal a 20-13 defeat on Saturday at Stanford Stadium.

Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 46.0.

Sean McGrew rushed for 114 yards, while Cameron Davis added 99 yards in the win. Jalen McMillan and Rome Odunze added 84 and 37 receiving yards respectively.

Austin Jones rushed for 62 yards for Stanford, while Nathaniel Peat added 13 yards. Tanner McKee threw for 194 yards for the Cardinal, while receivers Benjamin Yurosek and Elijah Higgins had 93 and 39 yards respectively.

Washington outgained Stanford 375-265 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-17 by the Huskies.

Stanford lost the time of possession battle 30:10-29:50, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Washington takes its act home to face Oregon looking for another win. For Stanford, they head home to face Utah.
