Bulldogs Fall 28-25 Against LSU - Game Recap

The Bulldogs came up short against the Tigers in Week 4 action on Saturday, falling 28-25 at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.

LSU was a favorite by -1.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 54.5.

Tyrion Davis-Price rushed for 51 yards, while Corey Kiner added 14 yards in the win. Kayshon Boutte and Trey Palmer added 85 and 58 receiving yards respectively.

Dillon Johnson rushed for 51 yards for Mississippi State, while Jo'quavious Marks added 46 yards. Will Rogers threw for 371 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Makai Polk and Jo'quavious Marks had 78 and 67 yards respectively.

LSU lost the offensive yardage battle to Mississippi State 486-343 yards in Saturday's game. Mississippi State had more first downs as that total ended up 29-15.

LSU lost the time of possession battle 35:08-24:52, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, LSU takes its act home to face Auburn looking for another win. For Mississippi State, they head on the road to face Texas A&M.
