Rice Owls vs Texas Longhorns Wrap - Texas Wins 58-0
Bijan Robinson tore up the turf for 127 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Longhorns to a 58-0 win over the Owls at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium/Jamail Field.
Texas was a favorite by -26.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 52.0.
Bijan Robinson rushed for 127 yards, while Roschon Johnson added 112 yards in the win. Xavier Worthy and Jared Wiley added 88 and 26 receiving yards respectively.
Khalan Griffin rushed for 52 yards for Rice, while Jordan Myers added 41 yards. Jake Constantine threw for 80 yards for the Owls, while receivers Jack Bradley and Jake Bailey had 25 and 22 yards respectively.
Rice lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas 620-284 yards in Saturday's game. Texas had more first downs as that total ended up 26-14.
