Bobcats Fall 49-14 Against Louisiana-Lafayette - Game Recap

The battle between the Ragin' Cajuns and Bobcats didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Ohio was handed a 49-14 defeat on Thursday at Cajun Field.

Louisiana-Lafayette was a favorite by -19.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 57.0.

Emani Bailey rushed for 89 yards, while Montrell Johnson added 84 yards in the win. Kaleb Carter and Peter LeBlanc added 51 and 43 receiving yards respectively.

Armani Rogers rushed for 56 yards for Ohio, while O'Shaan Allison added 47 yards. Kurtis Rourke threw for 106 yards for the Bobcats, while receivers Tyler Walton and O'Shaan Allison had 50 and 44 yards respectively.

Ohio lost the offensive yardage battle to Louisiana-Lafayette 564-242 yards in Thursday's game. Louisiana-Lafayette had more first downs as that total ended up 32-17.

Louisiana-Lafayette led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:03-24:09 split in that important category.

Louisiana-Lafayette heads into a Week 4 battle against Georgia Southern. Ohio, meanwhile, will have their next action against Northwestern.
