Hokies Down Middle Tennessee 35-14 - Match Report
The battle between the Hokies and Blue Raiders didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Middle Tennessee was handed a 35-14 defeat on Saturday at Lane Stadium/Worsham Field.

Middle Tennessee lost the offensive yardage battle to Virginia Tech 383-349 yards in Saturday's game. Virginia Tech had more first downs as that total ended up 24-20.
Virginia Tech lost the time of possession battle 31:28-28:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Virginia Tech takes its act on the road to face West Virginia looking for another win. For Middle Tennessee, they head on the road to face UTSA.
