North Alabama Falls 28-7 to Flames - Recap
The Lions had no answer for Joshua Mack on Saturday as the Flames rolled to a 28-7 win at Williams Stadium.
The Flames won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -32.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Joshua Mack rushed for 130 yards, while Shedro Louis added 57 yards in the win. CJ Yarbrough and DJ Stubbs added 43 and 37 receiving yards respectively.
Parker Driggers rushed for 55 yards for North Alabama, while Ron Thompson added 18 yards. Rett Files threw for 156 yards for the Lions, while receivers Andre Little and Cortez Hall had 47 and 44 yards respectively.
Liberty outgained North Alabama 357-247 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-14 by the Flames.
North Alabama led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:10-27:50 split in that important category.
Liberty looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Louisiana-Monroe. North Alabama will aim to get back on the winning track at Southern Miss.
