Pittsburgh Panthers vs Clemson Tigers Recap - Tigers Win 52-17

Trevor Lawrence was good for 403 yards through the air on Saturday as the Tigers got past the Panthers by a score of 52-17 at Memorial Stadium.

Clemson won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -23.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 58.5.

Trevor Lawrence completed 26 of 37 pass attempts for 403 yards for the Tigers in the win.

A.J. Davis rushed for 21 yards for Pittsburgh, while Vincent Davis added 19 yards. Kenny Pickett threw for 209 yards for the Panthers, while receivers Jared Wayne and Jordan Addison had 62 and 41 yards respectively.

Pittsburgh lost the offensive yardage battle to Clemson 581-246 yards in Saturday's game. Clemson had more first downs as that total ended up 27-12.

The time of possession battle favored Clemson as their offense was on the field for 36:32, longer than the 23:28 of their opponents.

Next game, Clemson takes its act on the road to face Virginia Tech looking for another win. For Pittsburgh, they head on the road to face Georgia Tech.
