Penn State Falls 30-23 to Cornhuskers - Recap

The Nittany Lions came up short against the Cornhuskers in Week 11 action on Saturday, falling 30-23 at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium.

The Cornhuskers were a +2.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 57.5.

Luke McCaffrey rushed for 67 yards, while Wan'Dale Robinson added 60 yards in the win. Zavier Betts and Austin Allen added 54 and 39 receiving yards respectively.

Devyn Ford rushed for 66 yards for Penn State, while Will Levis added 61 yards. Will Levis threw for 219 yards for the Nittany Lions, while receivers Pat Freiermuth and Parker Washington had 113 and 70 yards respectively.

Penn State outgained Nebraska 501-298 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 30-17 by the Nittany Lions.

Penn State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:24-23:36 split in that important category.

Next game, Nebraska takes its act home to face Illinois looking for another win. For Penn State, they head home to face Iowa.
