Buckeyes vs Hoosiers Final: 42-35 - Recap
Master Teague III tore up the turf for 169 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Buckeyes to a 42-35 win over the Hoosiers at Ohio Stadium.
The Buckeyes won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -21.0-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Master Teague III rushed for 169 yards, while Justin Fields added 78 yards in the win. Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave added 169 and 101 receiving yards respectively.
Sampson James rushed for 10 yards for Indiana, while Stevie Scott III added 6 yards. Michael Penix Jr. threw for 491 yards for the Hoosiers, while receivers Ty Fryfogle and Miles Marshall had 218 and 89 yards respectively.
Ohio State outgained Indiana 607-490 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 27-19 by the Buckeyes.
Indiana lost the time of possession battle 36:24-22:58, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Ohio State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Illinois. Indiana will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Maryland.
