Maryland Defeats Penn State 35-19 - Recap

Rakim Jarrett was good for 144 receiving yards on Saturday as the Terrapins grabbed a 35-19 win over the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium.

The Terrapins were a +27.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 62.5.

Jake Funk rushed for 80 yards, while Peny Boone added 20 yards in the win. Rakim Jarrett and Dontay Demus Jr. added 144 and 86 receiving yards respectively.

Devyn Ford rushed for 36 yards for Penn State, while Caziah Holmes added 29 yards. Sean Clifford threw for 340 yards for the Nittany Lions, while receivers Jahan Dotson and Pat Freiermuth had 123 and 91 yards respectively.

Maryland lost the offensive yardage battle to Penn State 434-405 yards in Saturday's game. Penn State had more first downs as that total ended up 30-16.

Maryland lost the time of possession battle 33:38-26:22, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Maryland takes its act home to face Ohio State looking for another win. For Penn State, they head on the road to face Nebraska.
